I AM FREE AS FIDDLE!
The last 5 months have been very difficult for the whole world and for me as a person; it was not really easy. It was difficult not because there was no basic necessities of life. It was very difficult because i was instructed i needed to stay at home in order to stay safe.
Listen! I can't remember when i ever stayed at home for 2 weeks without going out nonetheless when i have to stay at home for 5 full months. Growing up, i was this very out-going person and i loved lots of social activities and even till date i still engage in some of them. I love travelling, singing, acting, sprinting and so many others competitive activities.
However, i was hard-hit by the COVID-19 lockdown enforced by Nigerian Centre for Disease Control to flatten the daily infection curve. How will a Sanguine like me survive the lockdown? The first month was really challenging and i did not find it funny at all. But then i knew i had to adapt and survive and i needed to do that in an innovative way. You know, the first law of survival is adaptation.
So, i got busy utilizing the skills and talents i have refined over time to keep myself engage and that gave birth to Philipson Consult. I launched Philipson Consult in my sitting room and within 6 weeks i got 4 private schools who needed my service. Since that time, i have not rested. It has been training upon training adding value and helping school owners and educators transist to virtual classroom and they are loving my service as i help them make money and catching my fun in return.
Moreover, I also help my school; Caleb British International School to take her prime of place leveraging technology for smooth transition to virtual classes and also organized series of training sessions for my colleagues as i continue to develop my school by attending training organized by mentors.
While the lockdown lasted, I have increased my techknowlogy and that is what I will continue to be grateful for. I have learn how to used some Apps and I have also learn how to make one. I will be launching Philipson App very soon. It will solve a problem in African and beyond.
Now that the lockdown is over, I am free as fiddle and am back in classroom where I love to always be. I can see my students, my colleagues and we can laugh and flow together again but we have to cover our nose and wash our hands all the time to avoid unnecessary story.
I am very grateful for life.
I am very grateful for divine safety.
I am grateful for the vision and dream of a brighter tomorrow.
Most importantly, I am grateful for the sweet Angel with whom am celebrating wedding anniversary today.
Have you got something to be grateful for?
Feel free to share with me.
